My heart goes out to all of you. I remember Sidy's ever-present smile and laughter from my youth. He was a great friend, workmate and bowling partner to my Dad. My parents and I will always remember the fun times that he and my dad shared. Rosanna, if you are seeing this, please know that I am thinking of you, your mom especially knowing their anniversary was almost here again, your kids and all of your family, and am praying God will comfort you. I think that was your wedding photo in the video? It was beautiful; I remember our friendship from West Side Elementary and beyond...it has been so many years since we've seen each other. I hope your life is good in spite of this immediate sadness. May God bring all of you peace, Janet Romanic

Uncle Sidy, I love you more than words could ever describe. It breaks my heart into a million pieces that I can't be there today. You were the strongest man I knew and you were such a fighter that never gave up. I know you are in a better place now with all the aunts and uncles. I could never thank you enough for the impact you left on my life and in everyone else's lives. I will do no more but, to make you proud. I love you, Uncle Sidy. Always and forever.

Do you have a day in your life that you would like to erase from your memory? I do - April 8, 2014 was the day I long to forget. I lost my dearest Uncle that day. He was such a great human being - so strong, bold, jovial, a rare larger-than-life kind of character - a pillar that supported our whole family! Such a huge loss has definitely created a vacuum, one that suffocates me every time I think of him. I have so many fond memories with him that I will cherish forever. We little knew that morning God was to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone. For part of us went with you The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. ~Anonymous Aunt Joanne, Sidy, Johnny, Jimmy, Rosanna, Bobby, My deepest sympathy, love you all
