I have known Ruth for many years during the time that I worked as a nurse at St. Michaels and Greenville Schools. She was a caring, thoughtful friend and I am sure beloved by those whose lives she touched. Despite all of her heartaches she always reached out to help others. She is a fine model of one who humbly walked with her God.

I am very sorry for your loss of Ruth. She was a caring, giving, and wonderful lady. I loved her a lot. Greenville has lost a loving lady. If I wasn't in Myrtle Beach I would have attended Ruth's funeral.

I've always enjoyed the stories my mom has told me over the years about spending time with her favorite aunt. I didn't know Ruth (Aunt Hon) that well, but she was a big part of my life.

I am sorry for your loss. Ruth was a wonderful person. I met her when she worked at Hempfield school, and truly thought of her as a friend. She was a loving and caring person, and always put others before herself. I will miss her.

I've known Mrs. Heffern since I was in grade school. She always tended to my needs and helped me with whatever I needed. She never forgot myself or my family especially in our time of need.She would always greet me with a smile and a hug. The earth is a sad place without her, but comfort in knowing she is at peace with the Lord. God Bless you Mrs. Heffern. Thank you for always being so kind.
