Loutzenhiser-Jordan Online Guestbook for Ralph K. Ferguson
To all of you loving and wonderful relatives---my heart and thoughts are with you all and although I am unable to attend Uncle Ralph's services I feel the incredible love and life of him through the very special photos you have blessed us with! My memories of your family are filled with joy, love and a deep devotion to family (immediate and extended!). When I think of Uncle Ralph I remember his thoughtful and calm and loving nature. Aunt Joanie is surely greeting him with her loving embrace. You are all held dear and close, in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ralph is now with Joan in Heaven. One of my earliest memories of our family visits to the house in Greenville was the ever present aroma of homemade bread. We always felt so welcome amidst the warmth and love of your family. Christ's Peace to you all. Ellen Jordan

To Steve, Mary, Alan, Jim, Bob & Tom: So many memories came forth since Joan's cousin Chris informed us of your father's passing. As I watched the beautiful tribute video, I saw the ever present love that I remember in the air each time we visited. When I saw the photo of my Dad, Walt, & your Dad, Ralph together, my emotions got the best of me. I picture them enjoying a smoke together in life-ever-after. Love to all, from Mary (Jordan)

We all loved Ralph and Joanie. I have fond memories of family visits. After the kids were in bed we would sit around the table eating nutrolls and drinking coffee. We would talk and laugh until late in the night. We will miss him but I bet he is talking and laughing with Joanie now.

To all my Cousins, spouses & extended family. Ralph was a great man, quiet, with a nice smile. I spent many of my summer's in Greenville. All of us would pile in the station wagon & off we would go to the little league games. My cousin Mary & I would try & dress almost alike. Would go and get bushels of apples or peaches, so my cousin Joany could make pies. Delicious. Don't remember how old I was, but Ralph took all the kids & I out on the boat fishing. I did catch one & was shown how to scale it. Also there were many memories of going to the Ferguson renunion's at the Grange. So much food, everyone brought something. Ralph's favorite saying at the dinner table was, try it you will like it. Ralph & Joany should be so proud, they raised a fine family. Ralph will now be with the love of his life.
Sorry we couldn't be there at this difficult time, but you are in our thoughts & prayers. In sympathy & prayers, Christine & Aunt Irmgard Lopata

To all of my cousins, their spouses, children and grandchildren:
I wish I could be there for Uncle Ralph's services. In speaking to Mary the other day, my earliest memories of your dad go back to when he would come to the Oak Brook, IL CBI office for business and stay with us in Downers Grove. He would come for dinner and we were so happy to have him for company since we lived so far away from family. Although a man of few words, his actions and smile said it all. He was a devoted husband and father, and I will never forget how he could calm down his grand babies with the "football hold", which I used on my own kids. Together with my godmother Joan they raised an incredible family. Love to all of you, Lori, John, Rachael and Dan.
