I don't get the newspaper and just found about about Mary Ann's passing...Mary Ann worked with me at R.D.Werner Co. and she was truly a good friend to all who knew her...At Wal-Mart she was always the door greeter with the smile!... I would visit her when the boys were little during the Werner years and we would listen to her Elvis records...I know right now she is singing Elvis' "How great thou are"...my prayers are with the family and all the great memories they have of their Mother and Grandmother

So sorry for your loss. Worked with Mary Ann for years at greenville hospital when it was a fun place to work. She was dedicated to her work there & always did her best. Remember she was a true Elvis fan. Wonder if she ever made it to Graceland.? My thoughts are with you @ this time.

I was very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Growing up across the street from you I can remember coming over to your house a few times & seeing all her Elvis memorabilia. She was such a nice lady/neighbor.

Sorry for your loss, Mary Ann was an awesome person to work with, she always went out of her way to help me make my job easy by stearing the rolls of carts while I pushed them up so they wouldn't hit customers. One thing I will miss the most is come baseball season she would look at me an say the Yankees are number one an id smile an say the Indians were number one. She always gave my daughter 2 stickers when she seen her at WalMart an for Christmas last year she asked me what she could get Chloe for Christmas I said she didn't have too but Mary Ann insisted so I said she likes cars an trucks, she got Chloe a tunka truck that Chloe likes playing with to this day. Mary Ann was an all around awesome lady and she will be missed.

Mapua has been part of my life forever. I will never think of bingo, Elvis, or casinos without remembering her. May she be at peace and enjoying time with her family members who have gone before her.
