To Stella and all the family,
I just wanted to say I'm sorry I missed the service. but most of all how much I admired and respected Joe.
From the time we rode the Westinghouse bus together back in the late 60's or early seventies to when while living right next door and watching him work and enjoy his property and family the way he did.I feel sorry for the people who never new him. They really missed something in life.
The world would be a better place with more people like him.He was a good role model for all of us and I was fortunate to have him right next door as long as I did. He will not be forgotten.

Dearest Stella, girls and families: So sad to think that Joe's life here on earth has come to an end. He was one remarkable man - so kind, caring and giving. We always felt very special being neighbors right across the road with you. Even since we moved down the road a bit, you always could tell what time of the year it was but just looking at Joe's garden. He taught us much about growing things and we will always be grateful to him. May you all remember the wonderful memories you have of this special man and know that he no longers struggles. He is in heaven and what a garden he will have up there!!! Our deepest sympathy to each and every one of you! God rest your soul Joe, cause you certainly deserve it after your journey here on earth.

Dear Carole,
I was so sorry to hear about your Father's passing away. How wonderful for you all that he reached his 93rd birthday...what an honor. However, I know that as long of a life that he had, no matter the age, it is so hard to have him leave. I am so sorry for your loss.
Yours sincerely,
