May God be with Joe's entire family at this very sad time. Joe might not have been my father, but to me and many others, he was and always will be known as "Papa Joe". I always looked forward to seeing him, as he always made me laugh. The memories I have of him, will be cherished forever. There is no one in the world, quite like Papa Joe ... he's one of the best men I have ever met. And although I only knew him a short time, I am just truly greatful that God blessed me with Papa Joe's friendship. Forever in my heart, and will miss him dearly.

I am so proud to have known Joe Doddo. I never thought there could be another man that was like my grandfather Bill Smock and yet there was an identical twin. Someone everyone loved, everyone knew, everyone enjoyed to be around. A man who only had kind words to say about people, a man who loved to joke around and make others laugh and appreciate life. A man who loved his family so deeply. Big Joe as I called him loved life to the fullest and was a proud man. He is a man that left a legacy for his family. He left only positive memories and stories for all to think of in his absence here on earth. Ones that I pray will strengthen the family in the days ahead. I know for me, he left a smile that I will never forget! Love you Big Joe and the entire Doddo family!!
