I am so sorry for your loss, Jackie. I will never forget him being so anxious to talk to me about track, cross country or even basketball after church! I loved talking to him because he was so proud. My heart goes out to you.

To Jackie and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Dean's passing. The last reunion I attended we talked about the small farms and hoping they don't go away. I remember bike rides, flying over the hill on Eagle St. and the Snyder residence at the foot of the hill. May family memories sustain you in your time of sorrow.

My sincere sympathy to all the family. I'll remember Dean driving the golf cart at the Relay and well as all the summers at the market. Ann

I would like to express my condolences to Dean's wife and family. As kids in Greenville, we had some great times together playing baseball and basketball. To this day, I cherish the memories of our two championship teams so many years ago. I was saddened to learn of Dean's passing.

You don't know me and I had not seen Dean for over 50 years, but I wanted to share a fond memory of our mutual love of baseball. I grew up in Stoneboro next to the ball field and Dean and I spent many Summer days playing ball when he visited his grandmother, who lived up the street. We were the same age and always had to choose between who was going to be on the Indians or the dratted Yankees. It was a great time to be a kid and remains a sweet memory I wanted to share. My condolences on you loss. God Bless. John Wiand, St Petersburg, FL

dear Jackie! Being so far away from home caused me to think often of Greenville and it was always summertime. Dean was at bat and the corn was high. MAY THE SEVENTH INNING STRETCH BE A BLESSED ONE:

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your dear loved one. Take comfort in knowing that our Creator, Jehovah, will soon remove all pain, sorrow, and death forever! (Revelation 21:3,4) Yes, there awaits a hope of a resurrection soon to take place. (John 5:28,29) May this promise be of comfort as you gain the strength and inner peace to cope with the days ahead. (Philippians 4:13) When you have a quiet moment please examine and meditate on the cited scriptures, doing this will help you be hopeful about the future.

My condolences go out to Dean's family at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of playing baseball with and against him in the first year of little league baseball in Greenville. May he be at peace with the angels throughout eternity.

We feel you loss, Jackie. The Lord just gained a star pitcher. I don't know who besides Tony and I that played on that first team, but I sure remember the times my dad took a car load of the team to the Indian's games. Yvonne's and my prayers are with you.
