I am so saddened to just learn that Danny has passed away. Our fun times go back to Bath Fair and NYS fair. We did nothing but laugh constantly for the full week during the Bath Fair and we would cheat on our judging team at the NYS fair. He was always closer to choosing the correct order of the animals we were judging. In fact every year around this time which is "fair time" I often think of the fun times our "fair family" would have every year. I am honored to have known Danny. From the pictures, it doesn't appear that he changed a bit. Big smile, family oriented, farming, hunting, fishing. To all the family, I am sorry for your loss. RIP Danny.

I remember when we used to visit Grandpa and Grandma's and Danny would show off his talent at playing drums. He always knew how to make us all laugh! That's how I will remember him...playing the drums, laughing, joking, and the all the laughter. You all are in my prayers...please do not hesitate to ask your family (all of us!) if you need anything! We are here for you! ~ Sheryl

My thoughts and prayers to your family. Of all the thousands of students that I had the privilege to coach and teach in my 40 years of teaching Danny was just one of the best ...and nicest people. There was never a situation he didn't bring a smile and a bit of humor to… and then in some way help to make better. Sorry for your loss - the world lost someone very, very special today… Let us know if there is anything you need or way to help. Thoughts and prayers.

Jeanette, children, and the Hall family, I was truly saddened to hear of this tragic news about Danny. Danny had a huge smile and an even bigger heart. Danny was a tremendous individual who was always willing to lend an ear or hand in any time of need. I really enjoyed working with Danny at Wilcox. He was always willing to give me a chance at doing something that was out of the norm for that time period in the industry we were in. Thank you for sharing those wonderful memories of Danny and your family with us all. There was obviously a lot of love and happiness that you all shared together. Even though time and distance had separated our friendship, I thought of Danny and you often. May the memories of your joy and happiness together wrap around your heart and sustain you all through this terrible ordeal. Rest in the eternal arms of the Lord, old friend. With much love and peace, Heidi

I was trying to search for words that can bring comfort to you but no words can be found at this moment. Just having the support of those around you as you all walk through the grieving process. But I want you to know that...Jeanette, Alex, and Eddie...you will always be on our hearts and praying for you. With love from Evan and I.

My heart goes out to all of you. The sudden death of a loved one is so difficult. Lift up your memories of Danny every chance you get and share them with each other. Include him in holidays and celebrations with photos, videos, etc. Many people will say that time heals, but for us talking about Jay has been more helpful. Please accept our sincere apologies.

I met Dan when he worked for Carter Lumber, I was with Montgomery Truss and Panel as a salesman. He always had a smile that would brighten your worst day. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. May God be with Dan's family in their time of need

Jeanette and Family; I worked @ the Lumber Desk w/Danny. I had so much respect and admiration for him. I think of all the people I worked with there, and Danny always talked about his beautiful wife to me... I'm soooo sorry for your loss. From what I saw on the video, I'm sure he was a #1 Father & Husband. Please know he's with God now, but I know you'll always have good memories. I pray you and your kids will be okay. I feel bad I haven't seen him since Stambaugh's. I ran into you a few times, and it's been a pleasure. Take care, and God Bless You. Sincerely, Lorrie

Weep, but briefly, for Danny as he enters into the Kingdom of God, for he shall posses a joy and peace that is unattainable on God's earthly realm. Rather, rejoice in his everlasting and total happiness, for his eyes have seen God. May God give you strength and faith to say that He indeed knows best! We will continuously pray for your comfort and strength in this difficult time.
