Loutzenhiser-Jordan Online Guestbook for David E. Baughman

Dave was a Man for All Seasons. He gave so much to Grenville and Thiel College. We were neighbors so I sort of grew up with him around. He would come home everyday from the Steel Car for lunch and many times when I was walking back to Columbia School after my lunch we would run into each other and walk together. He was always interested in what I was up to, school, little league, going to the swimming pool, playing golf and we would just small talk. When I went back to Thiel I would see him from time to time on the tennis courts. He always stopped and chatted asking about my life as a Thiel student and how may family was doing. He touched so many lives and will be missed.

I knew Dave my whole life, living just 2 houses away. He was SO kind and caring, always asking about my parents (Ed & Ruth Boehm) and the rest of my family. I don't think I've ever know a kinder gentleman. God took a great man!!!

Condolances to Ms.Armour and Dave's family. I had the pleasure of knowing him from the early 70's; he was one of the nicest, most personable individuals I've ever known.

Dave was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We really enjoyed hearing his stories about Greenville and receiving his humor-filled notes. We will truly miss him and his sweet smile.
