I never met Chris personally as we spoke through email and over the telephone while he attended the university. I have had plenty of interactions with students in the last 5 years and I will tell you that Chris stood out! The reason being was his disposition. He was ALWAYS kind and pleasant when we talked and extremely bright! I am saddened today to hear of his passing and want to express my deepest sympathies to the family. Thank you for raising such a kind individual that had the power to touch someone's heart all the way in Nebraska! My prayers to you during this time.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I went to votech with Chris and he was the sweetest guy. He always had a smile on his face and made everyone smile no matter how bad of a day they were having. I will miss him very much but I take comfort knowing he is no longer in pain and smiling down on all of us. I pray God and Chris will comfort you in this most difficult time

I started at Home Depot in May of this year. I didn't know him long, but every time I saw him, he had me cracking up laughing. He was a sweet, sweet person, and he will be greatly missed! May God Bless you through this time.

I sit here with a heavy heart, thinking how much I will miss him, and his hearty laugh, I enjoyed so much going up to the front desk just to make him laugh, you can hear him laugh clear across the store, I always felt that I can go and talk to him about anything he always welcomed me, and he always treated me like a friend, and I will surely miss him, life has many mysteries and this is one of them that we can never understand, but I do believe someday we'll have our answers we can only hope,
