Loutzenhiser-Jordan Online Guestbook for Cecil J. Allen
We have just heard of this devastating loss. Cecil came into our lives as"The Painter" of Scott's race car. Through his dedication and creativity the car won Best appearing car at The Mile-High Nationals in Denver,an accomplishment that we hope he was very proud of!! Cecil is one of those people who come's into your life and will always be a Forever Friend! I just wish we could've spoken one last time. Scott's greatest memory was west coast racing, with Cecil as the pit-man, and the two of them walking The Golden Gate Bridge! C-Ya on the other side, our beloved FOREVER FRIEND! When my mom first met Cecil I remember thinking "who is this hippy guy with the mullet?" Little did I know he would have such a great impact on my life. I will cherish the memories of late nights listeneing to music and talking for hours on end. I was truly blessed to have Cecil in my life as a friend, mentor, and (step)dad. I will always be thankful for the times spent with him, the laughter, the tears, and the guidance he gave me. Rest in Peace, Dad.

The fondest memory that I will treasure forever is you rising from your bed on our last visit, although in the frail manner of your last days on this earth, to hug me and tell me "I Love You!" That always went 'both ways' Cecil! As you requested to Keith, he will look after your brother, Mike. You can count on it! The Allen Boys will continue to share a love that is unbroken. Having good times together with family never seem to be enough, but I trust that one day when we meet in Heaven with Jesus we'll have all the time we need! I love you, Cecil! May God comfort all of those who will miss you.

Dear Allen family, We are grateful that we were able to share in a season of time getting to know both Cecil and Elma during their stay with Jenny here in Grand Junction. Their friendship has forever imprinted into our lives They will be missed, and never forgotten. Today we give thanks to our Lord for the hope that we will see them again and that they are safely home together with him. We will miss them very much and send you all our deepest caring thoughts and prayers for strength and peace in the days ahead. Love the Ryken's (next door to Jenny and Del)
